ATT Voluntary Trust Fund (VTF)
Established at the II Conference of States Parties to the ATT, the VTF aims to assist requesting States requiring international assistance to implement their Treaty obligations, including with respect to legal or legislative assistance, institutional capacity building, and technical, material and financial assistance.
The Saving Lives Entity (SALIENT)
SALIENT is a United Nations funding facility, located within the Peacebuilding Fund, which is dedicated to supporting Member States tackle armed violence and illicit small arms and light weapons as part of a comprehensive approach to sustainable security and development.
UN Trust Facility Supporting Cooperation on Arms Regulation (UNSCAR)
UNSCAR is a flexible multi-donor, quick-impact, theme-focused, United Nations-managed fund supporting arms regulation. Civil society organizations (CSOs/NGOs), research institutes, UN partners, and international/regional organizations are eligible. Governments wishing to receive assistance should work with an eligible applicant.
Mapping ATT-relevant Cooperation and Assistance activities.
The activity database contains information about cooperation and assistance activities focused on building state capacity in areas relevant to arms transfer and SALW controls. The database currently includes information on activities carried out since 2012 that involved partner states from Africa, East Asia, Southeast Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean, and the Middle East.
